Program spotlight: Metro Outreach

Every day, thousands of our homeless neighbors use buses and trains as a temporary shelter. In 2017, PATH recognized this need and began outreach services targeted to our homeless neighbors who frequent Los Angeles’ Metro System.

In partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Department of Health Services, PATH now has 11 dedicated teams that fan out across the vast LA Metro System. PATH engages our homeless neighbors, addresses their immediate needs, and connects them with services—with the ultimate goal of helping them move into a permanent home.

No big gala. No fancy clothes. Instead, donate to the Imaginary Feast. Every dollar helps fund critical programs like Metro outreach, and moves people off the streets and into homes.

For every $1,000 we raise, PATH can help an individual like Matthew take the final steps into a home of their own.
