Living in LA, I've witnessed homelessness. Now that it is getting cold and it sometimes rains, I see homeless people suffering in a way that I think most veterans can relate to- being wet, cold, hungry, tired. I've done some research and I think this is the best way to allocate resources to help people struggling in this.
My friend was KIA 30NOV2010, and I know if he saw a homeless person, he would do everything in his power to help. This fundraiser is in his memory.
